On Monday, June 16th, the Town Center Sidewalk and Pedestrian Safety Project will begin.
This project involves constructing approximately 880 linear feet of concrete sidewalk on the south side of Meetinghouse Lane and the west side of Newton Road and will also include installing storm drainage along the west side of Newton Road and site lighting along the Meetinghouse Lane section of the walks.
The project's goal is to improve pedestrian safety in the Woodbridge Town Center, especially for Amity Regional High School students. Construction of this project is being funded through the CTDOT Community Connectivity Grant Program.
