Assessment Appeal Application Deadline is February 20

In March, the Woodbridge Board of Assessment Appeals will meet to hear appeals relating to assessments for Real Property and Personal Property on the October 1, 2025 Grand List. For an appeal to be heard, an Appeal Application must be completed and returned to the Assessor's Office no later than 4:30 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026.

The Board of Assessment Appeals will meet on the dates noted below. Dates and times are subject to change based upon the number of appeal applications received.  
 • Wed., March 11, 6-9 pm
 • Thu., March 12, 6-9 pm
 • Mon., March 16, 6-9 pm

Applications and Application Instructions are located on the Board of Assessment Appeals page on the Town website. Carefully read the application instructions before submitting an application. Individuals filing proper applications shall be notified by March 1 of the date, time, and information relating to their appeal hearing.

If appealing the assessed value of your property, remember to include documents to support your claim or an appraiser’s analysis of your property value based on the October 1, 2024 revaluation year comparable sales. Comparable sales are those of similar style, size, and location and must be from the period ending October 1, 2024.
