The Board of Finance will hold its Preliminary Budget Hearing on Thursday, April 25 at 7:30 pm in the Center Gymnasium (4 Meetinghouse Lane).
Residents should have received in the mail the FY2025 Preliminary Budget Mailer which contains a summary of the operating budget. More detailed budget information is available in the Fiscal Year 2025 Preliminary Budget Just the Numbers Book and the Fiscal Year 2025 Digital Preliminary Budget located in the Annual Budget section of the Finance Department’s page on the Town website.
The Preliminary Budget Hearing is designed so that residents may ask questions or make comments about the proposed budget ahead of the Annual Town Meeting. Following this hearing, the Board of Finance may make changes to the proposed budget which then will be presented at the Annual Town Meeting set to take place at Amity Regional High School on Monday, May 20 at 7:30 pm.
