The Town of Woodbridge is in the process of developing its 2025 Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD). As a first step, opinions will be collected via a comprehensive survey on topics like housing, economic development, open space, sustainability and more. Beginning June 10 through June 30, simply use the above QR Code to complete the survey or use this survey link. Woodbridge residents, property owners, and businesses are invited and encouraged to actively participate in the initial stages of the process to help shape our community’s future.
The POCD identifies our community’s vision, goals, objectives, and action steps for the upcoming 10 years—2025 through 2035. The last POCD was updated in 2015. The State requires municipalities to update their POCD at least once every 10 years. To develop the 2025 POCD for Woodbridge, a project team will guide the process. The team consists of Town Planning and Zoning Commission Members and Town Staff along with SLR Consulting, the firm hired to assist with this project.
Hard copies of the survey will be available in the Town Library, Senior Center, and Town Hall in the Land Use Office at the lower level of the building or the reception area. Completed hard copies should be returned to the same location that they were picked up no later than June 30.
Stay tuned for a Community Workshop coming this fall. For project timelines and to remain informed throughout the process, reference the Woodbridge POCD 2025 Update guide.
