A Public Information Meeting for the Town Center Sidewalk and Pedestrian Safety Project will take place Tuesday, April 2 at 6 pm in the Main Meeting Room at Woodbridge Town Hall. Woodbridge residents, property owners, businesses and other interested parties are invited to attend this meeting to be updated on the final design phase of this project.
Improving pedestrian safety, especially for Amity Regional High School Students, is key to this project. Sidewalks and storm drainage along areas of Meetinghouse Lane and Newton Road will be installed. CTDOT Community Connectivity Grant funding was received for this project. “Connectivity projects are important initiatives for Woodbridge. Focus on pedestrian safety in the Town Center along with upcoming projects in the Business District are initial steps towards the Town’s mission to make our community attractive and welcoming to residents, consumers, and businesses.” notes First Selectman Mica Cardozo.
Information relating to this project may be found on the Town website as well the Public Notice for this project.
Everyone is encouraged to attend this informative session.
