Renter's Relief Program

Qualifications & Exemptions

Those residents who:

  • Have attained the age of 65 on or before December 31, 2025.
  • Current resident of Woodbridge with one (1) year Connecticut residency.
  • Income does not exceed $46,300 for a single person or $56,500 for a married couple.

Those individuals who are on social security disability are exempt from the age requirement.

Applications

Renter's relief program will accept applications between April 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026. Those persons on the program prior will be mailed an application in April of 2026.

Renter's Rebate Application

Applications can be mailed with required proof of income and social security earnings to the Assessor's office located at:

11 Meetinghouse Lane
Woodbridge CT 06525

You must have receipts of ALL 2025 rent and utilities (excluding phone and cable).
