The Town of Woodbridge is seeking a well-organized individual to perform specialized duties involved with operating the Police Department’s Communications Center.
Duties involve receiving and transmitting 911 and administrative messages over a combined police, fire and medical emergency communications system.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and must pass a thorough background investigation and physical exam, including drug screening. Applicants must demonstrate effective oral and written interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multi-task, maintain composure, communicate and elicit information quickly and accurately under stressful situations.
Additional preferred qualifications include prior police/fire/medical dispatch experience.
This is a full-time union position with benefits; uniforms provided, Equal Opportunity Employer. Annual starting salary is $48,027.
