The Town of Woodbridge is requesting bids for the renovation of the emergency dispatch center located at the Woodbridge Police Department. The dispatch center serves as the public safety answering point (PSAP) for the Town of Woodbridge and dispatches all police, fire, and EMS calls for the town.
Project scope will be turned over to contractor with preliminary demolition started and dispatch service already moved to an alternate location. Contractor to demolish existing finish ceiling/flooring and prepare for new finishes. Successful contractor to demolish existing furred walls & framing and remove of existing window and existing sill assembly. Scope will also include demolition and removal of existing electrical equipment, fixtures, wiring, conduit, and related equipment. Select doors, frames, and millwork to be removed. Contractor to coordinate demolition and construction drawings for full scope of work. New scope of work includes, but not limited to, metal stud furring, ceiling, wall, and flooring finishes and new millwork, plumbing and electrical fixtures and equipment. Contractor to coordinate with Xybix console installation and modify existing services, including power needs, as required to meet console requirements. Town will purchase all Xybix furniture separately. Contractor to create enlarged masonry opening for new alum window system.
