    My Father the Fish: Rendering Life’s Hardships Spiritual by local author, Lorri Danzig, is a fast-paced story of resilience and faith. In her journey toward wellness, she intuitively calls upon the resilience skills she has taught for over a decade and demonstrates how our suffering is ultimately never about the circumstances of our lives, but always a function of our own perspective. Taking Resilience Skills Off the Blackboard is a workshop of practical tools for building resilience. Using excerpts from her memoir, My Father the Fish, Lorri effectively illustrates what it looks like to put resilience skills into action in order to bounce back and adjust to adversity, deep disappointment, and trauma.
