DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Facilities Contacts | Parks Department | Recycle Center |
|
The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of the roads throughout Woodbridge as well as drainage, snow and ice control, and road side mowing.
Typically street sweeping services begin around the early part of April, depending upon weather conditions.
Roadside mowing is done throughout the town beginning in the later part of spring through autumn. We ask everyone to pay particular attention while driving to mowing equipment and our workers out on the road. Catch basin cleaning is done yearly before the winter months begin.
Spring and summer and early autumn are the months that the road crew will begin their paving projects. We ask vehicular traffic to be patient if they see our crews out paving and to use extra caution when driving throughout the roads of Woodbridge while paving is in progress.
If you have any concerns regarding road conditions, please contact our Operations Manager, Warren Connors.
