Websites of Interest (Listed Alphabetically)

There are many websites that provide useful information about water protection and everything related to it.  A Google search of your specific topic of inquiry will routinely turn up informative websites from around the world.  Below is an annotated alphabetical list of websites that we feel are particularly relevant to watershed protection, especially as it relates to Woodbridge and its environs.  Most of these sites below can also act as portals to a wealth of other informative sites.  We encourage you in your search, and we welcome additional website suggestions.

CLEAR (Connecticut's Center for Land Use Education and Research):

Contains information on Woodbridge (and all other towns in CT) land cover and land cover change

Connecticut Department of Environmental Health :

A vast amount of information on the management of wastewater, hazardous waste, inland wetlands, lakes, pesticides, storm water, underground storage tanks, tidal wetland , and watersheds.  Also provides information on water quality monitoring, pollution prevention, composting, educational programs, and just about anything else you can think of.

        •An excellent source for local information and tips on water conservation, hazardous waste disposal, and local educational programs related to water.

An excellent source for water saving tips, products, and services.
